Standard Ukulele tuning
| String | Note | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| 4 (G, reentrant) | G4 | 392.00 Hz |
| 3 | C4 | 261.63 Hz |
| 2 | E4 | 329.63 Hz |
| 1 (A) | A4 | 440.00 Hz |
● Standard "My Dog Has Fleas" tuning is reentrant — the G string is tuned higher than the C string, not lower.
● Baritone ukuleles use DGBE instead (same as the top 4 guitar strings) — use the custom tuner for that.
● Nylon/fluorocarbon strings stretch a lot when new; expect frequent retuning for the first few days.
